Our Mission

We exist primarily to provide Bible-based training to men and women who will equip others and nurture the churches in Mozambique and other Portuguese speaking nations of Africa (2 Timothy 2:2; Colossians 1:28-29).

Our Vision

Our vision is to continue training a new generation of servant leaders and to foster a sustainable theological institution of higher learning that will provide a solid Bible-based, Christ-centered, and Spirit-led education across denominations in Mozambique and other Portuguese speaking nations of Africa.

Our Goals

CDL’s primary goals are to equip in leadership foundations and skills, educate for servant leadership in the church and teaching ministries, and to empower for ministry collaboration among evangelicals.

Testimonials

The foundation of the ministry I am undertaking now is a result of the tools I acquired during my studies at CDL. I have more confidence in carrying out my ministry, and my fellow students have become my best ministry partners. Lourenço Manuel

I received a solid biblical foundation at CDL that enables me to teach and preach the Word of God with confidence and courage. I thank God for the opportunity I had to study at CDL and for well-equipped and dedicated faculty. Verónica Zambeze

CDL provided me with solid biblical and theological tools. Studying biblical exposition prepared me to work with the United Bible Society translating biblical texts in local languages. I also lead a new congregation of believers. José Caré

We Need Your Help

Please consider praying for and/or financially supporting CDL. We also have short-term ministry opportunities if you would like to come serve with us in Mozambique.

Fervent Prayer

Pray that God will continue to use CDL to raise up men and women with a strong desire to impact others through multiple areas of ministry.

Financial Support

Because we are training pastors and church leaders in low economic countries, CDL provides training at virtually no cost to the students. However, it takes money to provide this ministry training.

For a donation of $40 per month, you can adopt a student in our two-year diploma program. For $110 per month, you can send a student through our bachelor’s degree program.

We are a multi-denominational and non-profit ministry solely supported by contributions of individuals and organizations in harmony with our purposes. All the financial support received for the ministry is appropriated directly toward the spreading of the Gospel and leadership development.

Ministry Opportunities

We have many short-term ministry and missions opportunities throughout Mozambique:

– Teaching: college and seminary professors, pastor-teachers needed to teach 2+ week intensive college level courses in different fields of study.
– Leadership seminars: pastors, church leaders, and lay leaders needed to lead training in different subjects for as short as two days or more.
– Evangelism and Outreach: mission groups from churches and Christian organizations needed to do evangelism and outreach ministry with local churches.
